The department Regulatory Affairs conducts complete product information dossiers, based on scientific tests and trials that can be used by our 30 subsidiaries worldwide for local registration of our products. The members of the team in the Netherlands are Regulatory Specialists and in close contact with all local regulatory responsible colleagues. We would like to add to our team a:

Regulatory Affairs Support

Based in the surrounding area of Rotterdam (Berkel en Rodenrijs) for a position for 40h p. w.

The job

In this position you provide global regulatory support to various projects, products and colleagues. You contribute to early product registration as well as effective maintenance of existing licenses. The duties and responsibilities for this position will evolve over time as Regulatory Affairs is of increasing importance for Koppert, because of the need for registration of Kopperts’ products. As Koppert is one of the leading companies in the industry, there is an important role for this department in influencing policy makers, to ensure that (inter)national legislation facilitates future innovations and protects the environment and wellbeing of human and nature.

Your main accountabilities are:

  • assist and support the head of the team with the daily operation like: planning, monthly & yearly reporting, budget control and reporting, approving of invoices, creation and distribution of documentation and organizing events or summits;
  • support the corporate and local teams with management of the actions and improvement projects;
  • support in reporting. The reporting consists monthly & yearly regulatory and budget reporting and keeping up-to-date of regulatory overviews/inventories in close collaboration with many internal stakeholders, when needed work in PowerBI;
  • keep track of all actions/decisions per subteam, coordination of actions, drafting of minutes of meetings and follow-up, completion of project management documentation;
  • contribute to the regulatory and legal processes by supporting the experts of the team;
  • develop and manage the document sharing of regulatory files on intranet. Develop intranet sites per product and manage the team page on intranet;
  • prepare safety datasheets in ExESS tool based on finalized dossier and after approval (with support of the experts), secure, translate and distribute them to internal and external stakeholders;
  • act as global contact on ExESS tool. Develop databases, information platforms and reporting systems and provide information and reports according to the objectives of the RA policy;
  • develop KORIND and regulatory intelligence reporting in collaboration with global RA colleagues.

Your knowledge and experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer oriented person to join this team on the journey to build our business forwards into the future.

  • bachelor degree for example: HEAO linguistics, legal or administration;
  • at least 3-5 years working experience in an international supportive job;
  • you are highly structured and (self-)organized, you take initiative and you are result driven;
  • you have expertise in the use of Microsoft tools and other database or document creation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI,…);
  • good people skills in order to communicate with our global internal and external clients;
  • last but not least: you have excellent oral and writing skills in Dutch and English.

The department

Our team consists currently 8 professionals (Regulatory Affairs, Legal Affairs and Public Affairs). The cooperation within our teams is informal, as is the general atmosphere. We help each other to get the best solutions for our clients.
